Endometry

Endometry is a procedure that can be used to determine the exact length of a root canal. This is necessary in order to insert exactly the right root canal filling during root canal treatment.

If the root canal filling is too short, it paves the way for bacteria in the tooth to cause dangerous inflammation. If, on the other hand, the root canal filling is too long, the jawbone is exposed to the risk of inflammation.

So what matters is maximum accuracy. Endometry offers this, and it also makes life easier for the patient, as no X-ray examination is necessary. Thus, this technology combines gentle diagnostics with more precise therapy and, as a result, a better prognosis for the root canal-treated tooth. During our examination, we will of course explain endometry to you in more detail if we think necessary.
